Re: Namco fork liftProbably Schaeff company. http://www.ritchiewiki.com/wiki/index.p ... ff#History
If you can find the model and serial number, you could probably come up with more information. Seperate information should be available on the Onan engine and hydraulic components - once identified. I have an excuse. CRS.
Re: Namco fork liftThanks Eugene I'm surprised that there is no web site out there that deals with these. I'm spoiled by this site
It is a LC 2015 Serial # 7211906 It will need some new tires in the future but it will be fine fore the winter I plan on repainting it sometime. And depending on what the starter costs to repair I may think about re-powering it with another engine Co- hosting Central Indiana Cub Fest near Tipton Indiana September 20-21,2012
Re: Namco fork lifthttp://www.schaeffinc.com/selectdealer.asp
A list of Schaeff dealerships. Couple of suggestions. E-mail the Schaeff corporation and ask their engineering/archive/historical department it they have any information on your lift. Contact the Schaeff dealership in your area, asking for same information. Starter for Onan engine. Onan parts are still available - expensive. The starter should/will be still available. It will take some research. Typically the starter was used by several engine manufacturers. Look for the same starter but used on say a Briggs engine - will be cheaper. Other lift parts will/should be available - after identification. I have an excuse. CRS.
Re: Namco fork liftThanks again Eugene Looks like I have a local dealer

Re: Namco fork liftThat motor looks like a CCK or CCK A Onan. Very common 25 30 yrs. ago. Available in everything from Garden Tractors to RV generators. Starters were very durable. A common problem was the wire becoming disconnected on the pos. stud. inside the starter. A little difficult to get at but definately repairable.
