Was one actually manufactured this way, or is it a Heinz (57 varieties)

The "B" Farmall part is correct with the single front wheel. The mower looks like a Cub Clipper (It would have been easier puttin' a 60 inch Woods 3 blade mower under the "B").

John , It looks like the mower has some issues in one pix the belt is on and in the rest the belt is just hanging.It botheres me when there are a set of CHANNEL LOCKS on the platform it helps to confirm that he only owes one tool.

Steve, the picture from the rear shows a hammer laying on the tranny case next to the channellocks. So I guess he has 2 tools!

Left rear tire is on backwards in some of the photos and on correctly in other photos.

I wonder why the hubs and rims are set out at their widest position, 92 inches. The right rear tire is set wider than the mower.

I may be rong here but I have read where the took the "A" finels to make a "BN" , a narrrow version, This apears to me to be the situation here. I rather doubth that it was used for Tabaco in SD.

The A, B, BN etc. all used identical final drive housings. The A had an 18" axle housing between the transmission case and right final drive and the left final drive bolted directly to the transmission housing. The B used a 22" axle housing on each side. The BN usad an 18" housing on each side. The BN housing, although the same length as the A part, was unique to the BN.

The tractor on eBay looks like a B that has had the left axle housing removed so that corner is like an A. The rest of the tractor is a B, with a 22" housing on the right. It does not appear to have any of the BN specific parts on it.

The original discussion that pointed out that tractor came from redpowermagazine.com. Thye have been having some problems and the thread is now gone, but one of the people responding said he had built several like that one out of a mixture of A and B parts specificalyy as mowing tractors. Don't know if it was one of his in the auction or not.
