Do they come in cub size ?While at our yard in Oswego Il found some cool chains ,now if we can find them in cub size for you snowplowers out there. They are on a cat 988H loader special ordered for steel mill duty. They are called tire armor to prevent hot slag and steel from contact with tires. If you notice cab glass is 2inch bullet proof and heat proof and it comes with a automatic PUT ME OUT QUICK system in the cab. It dont show up in pic but on back of cab is a Im on fire strobe light for when things get to cookin. We deliver several of these a year to mills around country usally a replacment for a toasted one .

Re: Do they come in cub size ?A set of chains like that would almost eliminate the need for wheel weights. They probably weigh as much as a wheel weight.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem. My wife says I don't listen to her. - - - - - - - - Or something like that! http://www.cubtug.com
Re: Do they come in cub size ?One of those chains weighs more than a cub lol. Im 6'-3" tall and those tires are taller than i am and yep thats my paw for a size comparison. I belive i heard a mechanic say 3900 lbs per chain. They use a 3ton comealong to tighten them up.
Re: Do they come in cub size ?if they use a 3ton comealong to tighten them up, what do they use to mount them?

Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool. Some days it's not worth chewing through the restraints
Re: Do they come in cub size ?They swing em and hang them with a 6500lb service truck crane. Watched a set go on today while waiting for my trailer to be repaired.
