New Kubota BX

After 8 years of using my Loboy as a front line worker, I decided it was time to put it into semi-retirement. Actually, with my job change I have less time to fix things and the Loboy has a few issues, as does its backup, a Cadet 108. So, the new BX 1860 arrives in a couple of days with mower and front end loader. Guess I feel a little guilty about it.

I'm keeping the loboy, probably selling the 108, but that ain't set in stone...we'll see. There's only so much storage space. Pics will come as soon as the critter arrives.

Congrats on the new Kubota! I bought my first one 20 years ago, absolutely no regrets! I still have and use that one and have since acquired two more. Of course all of mine are older models but kinda like Cubs, they age quite gracefully.

Rudi, the 108 just left this afternoon with my son, who may have been bitten by Cub fever.

Jeff, The guilt doesn't last very long--I know from experience. ENjoy the new tractor.

UPDATE: The Cadet 108, which now lives with my son, has had its clutch replaced along with the motor mount bolts. It's running like a champ. He is pleased, and so am I.

I'd post a pic, but can't figure out how to grab it off his facebook page.

The BX has exceeded expectations, except for mower deck removal/installation. I told my son that the 108 is much easier in that respect.
