What year is that? My favorite car ever was a 1974 was a 1974 Chevelle Laguna SS with a 454. Complete with the swivel bucket seats. I miss that one

Very nice Ron! I had a 70, it was a great car... I forget which Dotson brother has an early one too.

Ron:

Is that an 83 or 84? Very nice ride :D

My last Oldsmobubble was a 79 Cutlass Supreme -- pretty much same lines but the style changed in 80/81 and was subtle enough to make me wish I had waited another year or so to buy the updated model. Since the Olds Cutlass and Monte Carlo shared the same body style/frame etc., I always considered the Monte to be equivalent and just as sweet. Only difference was it wore the Chevy badge instead of the Olds. Olds just was my favourite GM mark for cars with the 69 442 being my absolute favourite - it still is today and there are very few cars that can make my heart rate increase like the 69 or maybe the 70 442 especially the H/O version.

This is similar to my 79, however mine was gold with white leather top.

The one design change I liked in the later version was the more angular nose.

its a 85, i bought one just like this after high school. i payed it off and traded it in only months afterwards, not the smartest thing i ever done. i have always wanted it back. my old monte had somewhere around 90k at trade in so to get this one with 24k miles is awesome. this car will still bark the tires in second gear and at 45mph when get the passing gear to kick in. one of my uncles had one of those laguna ss cars. the swivel seats was pretty strange looking to me but a neat option.
