As you can see I am new to this forum, but I've been Spying for a long time...(well you know, i'm shy)
And I am french too, so I logicaly own A french Farmall Cub.
let's talk about ponies.
as Rudy (hello) said, ponies where canadian machines, but (as cubs were) they were built in france too until middle of the 60's. Of course there were a few differences between the both sides of ocean versions. Such as the motor: french ponies had a SIMCA ou PEUGEOT engine. there was also a diesel version (very funy machine with a two strokes HANOMAG engine).
3 pts hitches version whas also aviable for the latters years.
Pony was a so popular machine here in britany, that people over 40 call every small red tractor a "pony", even the ones with an offset motor
