here is a site that I like http://perso.wanadoo.fr/marc.esprit/. this guy has a huge restore project .
have a special look to "celestin". This kind of single cylindered tractors were very popular in europe until the 50's. the "Vierzon French Society" was bought by CASE in the early 60's and the production of these machines stopped.
No "harvest show" can happend in france without at least one Vierzon or Lanz tractor to power the treshing machine. Their noise, especialy at idle is so impressive! Well, starting is another adventure.
of course the site is in french, but there is a lot of pictures...
what makes my cub very rare is that it's the only one I've ever owned.

He has a nice system for splitting the tractor. Two adjustable floor jacks, one stationary, and the other one on wheels on parallel square tube rails. Click on "mes tracteurs" (my tractors), then click on Hermann and scroll down five photos.

Nice site. Too bad I can't read it. I like the Fendt auto-mower and the "hood ornament" on the first page. Is the tractor on the first page an orchard or vineyard tractor? It looks quite narrow.
no Jim.
that's not an orchard or even a vineyard tractor. The camera was just a little too close.
