Alemite and Hyatt

Postby Bob McCarty » Fri Jan 28, 2005 7:04 pm

On ebay there is a 1915 brochure for a Superior Grain Drill (7130204622) that looks to have two decals on it. One says Alemite which I believe was an early grease. The other says Hyatt. Can anyone tell me what that was or referred to? Just interested, Bob

Those decals simply indicate it is equipped with Alemite lube fittings and Hyatt bearings. It is like computer stickers that say "Intel Inside."

Probably trying to advertise that it was equipped with Alemite fittngs rather than the old screw down grease cups. They were considered an upgrade.
