manure spreaders and Murphy's law

My wife went to empty the manure spreader last week, and came back almost cursing because the bed chain had broken. Of course the weak link will never break when it is empty! So I got to fork it out, replace the link, and load it up again. Would have much rather spent the time working on my Cub

Manure Spreaders

I was going to give a smart reply about my experiences with manure spreaders and about how I learned to drive into the wind when spredding manure. But I won't, I have since learned to just keep my mouth shut.

Did you know that manure spreaders were the only implement that IH dealers wouldn't stand behind?
