CAN I GET SOME INFO MAYBE SOME PICS FROM SOMEONE WHOS GOT EITHER A 8N 9N JUBILIE AND THE 2N HERE ARE MY QUESTIONS
1.WHAT BOTTOM PLOW CAN THESE PULL
2.WHAT SIZE DISK
3.WHAT SIZE PLANTER
ALSO IF ANYONE HAS ANY PICS CAN YOU POST THEM!!!

Most Ford implements of that era were either 2 bottom or 2 row, 3 point type. Many aftermarket clones were offered. Lots of them out there yet made by Ford or Ferguson but alot have probably been scrapped lately. Do a Google search and you will likely find pictures out there in cyberspace.

They should pull a two-bottom 12" plow in almost all types of soil. A 14" two bottom would work in many soil conditions. A 16" single bottom would work in many soil conditions.

Reference Farm Equipment Guide:
2N. 1942 - 47. 24 hp on pto.
8N. 1947 - 53. 27 hp on pto.
9N. 1939 - 43. 24 hp on pto.
NAA Golden Jubilee std. 1952 - 54. 32 hp on pto.

All listed tractors would handle a 2 row planter and cultivator. Cultivator depends on number of planter rows.

6 foot disk. 10 foot tandum would be to big - for sure.

Smaller tractors should handle a 2-12 or 2-14 plow. The larger tractor, perhaps 2-16 plow.

Everything depends on the soil.

2 12s are a plenty, still a lot of them out there. 5 foot disk , you will be able to add some weight to the disc, be careful as the hydraulics on them are not that strong so watch the extra weight that you put on the disc. Most any 2 row 3 point cat 1 planter will be fine 309 corn planter for example

My 8N will handle 2-12's real well, and I have a 5' Dearborn disc that I rebuilt with notched blades on the front gangs. Be careful when buying a plow as I have been told that the older points are NLA. If someone knows otherwise, let me know since I like to get a 2-14 Dearborn. A 2 row planter, pull or 3 point and a 2 row cultivator match up well with the 8N, although the rear mount cultivator and quick steering tractor can cause "blight" John
