Absolutely - it can pull all the cubs into my barn! That's a cub tractor pull.

Well it finally got too rich for my pockets. Maybe ihterry1937 (whoever that is) will bring it to Cubarama.

$1500 and fetching it from Kansas is a bit much. kind of unique, though. too bad, sorry you missed it, Jim

If you had sniped it within the last minute, it would have had to be at least $515 over $1,000.

Jim, I guess I should have added that if I had been in your position or if it was me bidding and you were not involved in the bidding that I could have got it for the next bid over $1000. Most all of My bids have been won within the last 20-seconds or less.

The winniing bid was put in 45 seconds before the auction closed and prior to my last bid. I think it was an automatic snipe that would have gone in whatever I did. Any winning bid would have had to beat his snipe that was at least $1,490.

Seems to me it would be unusual for someone manually bidding to have come in at the last minute, seen my bid and bid that much above me. But hey, now we are talking psychology and it is anyone's guess what he may have been doing.

It didn't dawn on me what the high bidders eBay name was until you posted it, but I believe that is an IHCC Chapter 24 member, from extreme western Kentucky. If it is, he has a Lot of IH stuff. and his bid was probably high enough to buy it regardless of what some one else did. At least you tried. The really sad part is we will probably never see it at Cub-Arama or a Cubfest

If he is in western KY, he is close enough to CubArama that he SHOULD bring it. Maybe we can work on it.

Yup You are right Jim. I didn`t notice that his high bid was placed before your final bid, I thought that he bid after you did until I went back and looked at it again.

I emailed him to find out, but haven't got an answer yet. If it's him, I'll work on him for Cub-Arama, he has some Cubs too. A lot/most of his stuff is as found or in it's working clothes.

The UniTow was bought by my friend in western KY, provided it is as advertised and pictured, and he is going after it tomorrow. I'm already working on him to bring it to Cub-Arama.

That will be something to see. Get him to bring a cub, too. Thanks Paul.
