Case VAC Dims

Can anybody help me out and tell me how wide a VAC is. I have not seen the tractor I am getting so I have no idea if it will fit through a 72" door or not. Wheels can come off as I do have some heavy dollies.

I am getting one in here at school to restore with my kids and I need to know if it will fit in my shop door or not. It is being donated to us to restore and raffle.

thanks
Jason

Jason, the books I have don't give that dimension, but the pictures show it has an extended axle to allow mounting two rear tires on each side. You'll need to make sure that is taken into account when someone measures theirs.

The rear tread is supposed to adjust from 48 to 80 inches with 88 inches optional. Looks like the wheels can be adjusted to fit but you may need a measurement on the axle tips.

I have asked to guy if I can come out and look at the tractor sometime this week and will get the dims. All I know it is a narrow front and needs a lot of cosmetic work.

Thanks

I have a good set of fenders and grille for a VAC if you need them. Free for a good cause unless I have to ship.

I have a 1950 VAC and the best I came up with was 80 1/2" tip to tip on the axle. With the wheels off you might be able to walk it through the doors one axle at a time.

Thanks Ron,

I have 71 1/2" to be exact. So I should be able to get it in atleast to work on. I guess once we get ready for paint we will have to find another location.

Thanks Again. This all helps big time.
