Found a pair of wheel weights at Mom's.

They appear to be rear weights.

Around the outside is the lettering:

F & H

W No 161

Patent No 1487257

Anybody able to confirm what these weights truly go to? and the significance of the lettering?

They are about the same outside diameter as the Cub weights, and they have curved slots in them too. Sorry can't post a pic right now till puter at home gets fixed!!.......some MORON broke the stupid display!!!!  ....3 guesses who the "moron" is !

My guess on the "F&H" would be French and Hesch (sp?), they made wheels for a few different companies, and perhaps weights as well.

My understanding is that French and Hecht made complete wheels. Other manufacturers were Firestone and Goodyear, but they may have only made tractor rims. (Goodyear made complete aircraft wheels including brakes for many aircraft)... they even built complete aircraft, but that's another story.
