Looks pretty dang good. Looks original(too me) except for engine. Ballpark figure on offering price?

That looks like it is a 1960 Wheel Horse 550. The original engine would have sat in the middle of the tractor between your legs. I'd say it that guy is way to high on his price. I think it's probably worth no more than 250.

Thanks 56cub. I know nothing about these tractors. So the engine location isn't correct. I had no idea, so that shows you how much I know. Thanks for the heads up. I do know I wasn't gonna pay anywhere near 800.

And I just realized I should've placed this in the vine. Sorry

the bigger problem is he has lost the orginal engine out of the tractor. It came with a Lauson, and there not easy to find. What he's done here is nice and functional, but not something you could restore back as easy as having all the correct parts. I'd say he has about a 100 worth of tires and another 100 worht of parts for other tractors. You see more and more of this. People get caught up a price or greed thing, and think its all worth a ton of money.
