Guys:
This morning precisely at 9:30am thereabouts, , our local John Deere dealer - Signature Tractors - brought over my brand new JD - L-111 Lawn Mower.
Didn't get pics yet cause Em and I spent most of the day stopping and running. Managed to get a little seat time though. Got the tractor with 0.2 hours on it and by 8pm tonight, I ended up with 1.5 hours on it for a total of approximately 1.3 hours.
Boy, I like this mower A lot No, I am not a Green convert, but I really do like this mower. I really like the hydrostatic transmission too Wasn't too sure about it, but am in love with it now Got her all washed up for tonight and put to bed in the shop. Granny got booted, but only temporarily. Not leaving the new one outside to maybe get stolen or something..... yeah, we do have a bit of that problem around here occassionally.
Will be taking the JD out again in the morning. I only got about 1/4 of the yard done so far. But, what used to take me 3 to 4 hours is only taking a bit over 1 hour - vast improvement.
I guess you might be seeing a Sears 12.5 Deluxe 38" cut Ride-on being parted out over the summer.......
Wow, am I impressed with this machine or what

That's a pardonable sin Rudi. Guess how I know!

John:
Em made me do it Seriously though, even a new MTD Cub Cadet could not convince me... this one did.
BD:
I know, and that is one of the reasons why we went with the JD....
Bruce:
You KNOW I still want one. Just could not convince Em that a 20 + year old lawn mower was a good deal. All she could see was our 15 year old POS
RedNed and Carm:
Thanks. I am having a lot of fun with it

It's o.k. Rudi,
I guess now I can finally admit it....
But I will say my IH's do almost all the work around here.
Good luck with that new mower!

my friend had a good idea of what a funny picture would be.
Take my L110 and take my dad IH 444 and put the bucket on top of the JD to make it look the the tractor is crushing the other one.
