Case VAC wire harness

Postby Jason (IL) » Thu Jan 02, 2014 9:08 pm

We are at it again finishing up our Case VAC. It is all painted now and I have been doing searching for a wiring harness for the tractor. My IH dealer can order them but it is around $230 and stieners is around $200 ish I think. I am just wondering if there are other places that make them and sell cheaper. The IH one comes with battery cables and I have those donated already. Any help would be great.

Also, decals will be needed if there is a better place to get those other than my IH dealer.

Thanks

Try this. http://brillman.com/store/a-tractor/wir ... eries.html. You can call John and he will most likely answer the phone, himself. That way you will be sure to get the right harness.

Jason,

You might also check with Eric at Porch Electric, he may be able to help you on the harness;

On the decals, have you tried Maple Hunter (Indiana)?

Good luck,
David

Not the fastest, but the cheapest is to purchase spools of electrical wire and wire terminals. Then make up the wiring harness.

For as shop project, pretty educational - - - lot of thought process involved.
I have an excuse. CRS.
