Look very closely for a crack around the bolt hole in block, and also the head, since the head should have water in it also. Rather than silicone use some good TFE type thread paste on the bolt threads, and a copper sealing washer may help under the bolt head. If you can't find any locally, try Mcmaster.comJason (IL) wrote:.......
Other problem is we have water coming up from a head bolt. The bolt goes through to a water jacket. We have tried silicone around the threads and it still keeps coming up. Anything I am missing here?
Thanks
