Massey Ferguson Workbull 202

Postby Bob McCarty » Thu Aug 14, 2014 7:03 pm

A friend of mine has his in the shop and was told he needs rods, flywheel and ring gear. I've looked at the sites I know of and haven't found these parts. Anyone know a yard that specializes in MF?

Thanks, Bob

The largest ag machine dismantler that I know of, http://www.colfaxtractorparts.com/.

Contact Valu-Bilt or what ever it's new name is. They frequently have tractors and machines being dismantled that are not listed in their catalog.

Both are located in central Iowa.
I have an excuse. CRS.

Thanks Eugene. I had looked at Valu-bilt (CT Farm and Country now). They list MF but not the 202. Colfax doesn't appear to handle any MF. Joe or I will post on several other forums and see what leads come in.

Basically I'm suggesting you send an e-mail to companies dismantling tractor to see if they have the needed parts. They frequently have parts for previously dismantled tractors in stock that are not listed on their web site or paper catalog.

2010 Valu-Bilt catalog lists parts for the MF 202.

I'll have him do that. I don't think he has a complete list of needed parts yet, but wanted to start looking so the tractor isn't down any longer than it needs to be.

I've had a couple of workbulls in the passed and I believe some of the TO35 parts fit that. something you should consider. Check out a parts book to see with parts cross over.
Basically the 202 workbull was the beefed up industrial version of the TO35. Most 202's had loaders and or backhoes

The 202 used a Continental Z134 gas engine, which was also used on the MF35s

The 202 is basically a industrialized 35 with a manual transmission. There was also a 203 with a Perkins diesel, and the 204 and 205 which had torque converters.
