That's a great little potato planter. I should build one like it. Just busy doing other stuff and by the time I want to do it planting season's already here. I've been using a carryall with the help from my wife to plant and then hop on the cub with disc hillers to cover.

It takes me longer to cut the spuds into seed pieces than to plant them!---I try for 2 or 3 eyes per piece average then Virginia tries to drop 1 piece every 8 to 12 inches in the planter shovel!---really is a handy unit!---I also made a couple diggers to harvest with in the fall!
Your idea works good too! LOL! thanks; sonny
