Yep, with the US reducing trade and travel restrictions with Cuba, American business can venture onto the island. One of the unique thing is that almost all of the farming methods down there are "dated" by our standards, cultivating is a huge thing. I wouldn't be surprised to see small Farmall culti-vision tractors like the Super A and Cub finding there way down there. Cuba has remained somewhat stuck in the mid-20th century because of the embargo. Its like a giant time capsule.

This thread is also like a time capsule. It is a good thread. Many of the cars and taxis were repowered by Soviet to Russian engines and transmissions. I should check and find the interesting ways that they did that. Something can look like a "57 Chevy but very different.

Just as an update. I'm pretty sure that deal (those tractors for Cuba) fell through. Most likely the people in Cuba couldn't afford them and they decided it wouldn't be profitable to build them here and ship over there. Not 100 percent sure, but someone told me it fell through.
