hey
I drained tranny few weeks to a month ago or so and didn't refill until the other day -
anyhow I started her up and I can shift into range then when I try to shift into a gear it grinds ...no matter what gear ,,,grinding too hard to force into gear,,,,,,could something have froze while sittin??
shes running now hoping to warm up --

failed to mention that when engine is off I am able to shift into any gear ...

Sounds like the clutch isn't releasing all the way.

^^ agreed, sounds like you have a clutch issue, not a trans issue.
check the adjustment and go from there.
