Postby Wise Owl » Tue Oct 31, 2006 3:17 pm

Breakfast Casserole (Sausage)

6 eggs, beaten
2 cups milk
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon pepper
½ teaspoon salt
4 slices bread, cut in 1-inch cubes
1 lb sausages, cooked & drained
1 cups grated medium or sharp cheddar cheese

Combine beaten eggs, milk, salt, pepper and mustard. Into a greased rectangle casserole dish, layer bread, sausage and cheese. Repeat layer. Pour liquid mixture over ingredients in casserole dish

Cover and refrigerate overnight.

Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 35-40 minutes.

Wonderful make ahead casserole for overnight guests or for breakfast or brunch.

Great as a Christmas make ahead breakfast.

This is a recipe Priscilla served to the gang on Sunday, October 15, 2006 at the Cub Festival.
