Postby Boss Hog » Mon Dec 11, 2006 8:32 pm

I am going to look at a super A this Sat. I know very little about the tractor. Was wondering what the S# break was from 53 to 54 I think the 54 has the biger moter. and was a fast hitch available on them and if not will one off a 140 fit it?
Need a little more HP on this tight Va soil, cub huffs and puffs in places.

The chart on YTMag.com shows 353348 is the start of 54. Don't know how accurate their charts are.

The higher power Super A1 started at serial 356001. They were roughly half of the 1954 production.
