new guy

Postby Keith L » Wed Feb 14, 2007 11:26 am

Hi everyone,
I have been out here for a while and finaly decided to jump in. The Cub King name was given to me by my buddy that only has a Farmall Regular so to him I am the King as I had 16 Cubs. I'm down to 10 now and several more will have to go due to space and to pay the bills for the ones I'm working on. I also have a 1958 460 diesel utility with backhoe and loader and a 1949 Super AV (high crop). I got to know the cubs pretty well from my first project. A 1950 that has had every bearing and seal replaced including an engine rebuild. That one is my parade tractor. Now I'm working on a yellow and white that will have a 1000 loader on it and a 55 loboy that will have a 59 woods. Another cool one on the list to be refurbished is a 61 loboy with a 105 balanced mower. Rudi, I'm the guy that sent you the paperwork on the Brookfield saw. Had to sell that saw, scared the heck out of me. You also may have seen me buy and sell on ebay with the name rv8keith. I plan to have a flea market space at Red Power so stop in and say hi! I'm here in New Jersey. Keith

Welcome Keith! We're glad to see you come out of hiding and post.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

Welcome to the forum, Keith. "rv8keith" doesn't happen to make reference to a home-built aircraft, does it? :D

You guessed it. I finished Van's Aircraft RV8 serial #80185 in September of '99. Flying has been on the way back burner since the Cubs came along. Keith

Thanks for the welcome guys. No pictures, but I'd really like to get a group shot of them someday but I'm too lazy to set that up.
