Will I am finally in thy brotherhood! I bought a nice '55 (#191081) from a very nice gentleman this morning. He sold me the tractor, a snow blade, rear weights, a new set of rear tires and a new battery.

The tractor was not in a place where we could try to get it started, plus the blade was frozen down outside. So he agreed to store everything until this spring, then he would put in the new battery, drain the old oil, get it running and call me. He even said he would put on the matching headlight (right now it has a mismatched pair). If I changed my mind once I tried it he said it would not be a problem. He also said he would be real suprised if I did!

I do have some photos but don't have a site to post them on. Maybe someone would alow me to send one or to to them to post for me.

I will still be "shopp'n" since this is "only" my first. I must say, if every seller was as much a joy to talk with as Leon was it would be real hard not to buy a tractor every week! It was a lot of fun talking tractor and swopping stories.

So now I have to just get myself calmed down until spring. I am sure I will have many questions once I get it.

Thanks
Guy

I'm waiting for my wife to get our Business sit up then I'll have her add a "Cub" section to it. Should be next month sometime.

See! There ya go! Lookin' for another one already. :) You are indeed in the brotherhood! :D

Congratulations! Sounds like your first purchase was a good one. I'll bet it's home at first thaw!
