Jim, What is a Cub middle buster ?Got me !
Here is trying to post a pic
Jim - the Img tags were incomplete and in wrong place -- fixed it -- Rudi Jim Turner
MiddlebustersFor an additional picture of a middlebuster go to Rudi's manuals, click on CBI-1A Revision 3 Parts Catalog, then on middlebusters. It is my understanding that they are fairly rare. I have had one (incomplete) but one which can be easily restored to a usable condition for about three years. I sold it, along with a moldboard plow, to hr49cub a couple of weeks ago. Dan
And unfortunately, I haven't had the time to get it cleaned up and painted yet. I assumed it would just bolt on the plow rail once you remove the moldboard.(F-193) Will that work? Anyone? HR
MiddlebusterHarold: I checked for pictures today in the cub implement manual on Rudi's site. It shows a different frame than that of the moldboard. However, with your access to a machine shop you can fabricate the type of frame which is shown there. Dan

Here are the pics of the middlebuster I promised ---

I'm sure that once Dad gets a chance to look at it he'll have some ideas. I just assume it mounted on the plow rail. I have never seen the "original" middle buster. No problem though. We'll make it work. Besides using it to row up my garden in lieu of a "hipper". What else does one use a middle buster for?. Looks like it would dig up sweet-taters!!
HR
Thats exactly what I use mine for. Digging tatters and peanuts, making drainage ditches at the ends of the rows, and also use it to dig ditches to lay pipe or conduit. Mine is on my Super A though.
