Way off topic - washing machine
Anybody familiar with removing the tub from a washing machine so I can replace a leaking seal? It is a Speed Queen Model AA5421 and as near as I can tell, the seal where the tub mounts to the hub on the transmission shaft has a slow leak. I have located a hub seal kit but I'm not sure where to start dis-assembly.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

Hey, Sonny,
How long did it take for this problem to show up? Your Grandmaw's Speed Queens have given at least 20 years of fairly trouble free service. I did replace an internal hose maybe 5 years ago. Built like a Cub!

I think it's a 1990 model. Not too bad!
