If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem. My wife says I don't listen to her. - - - - - - - - Or something like that! http://www.cubtug.com

John,
Super in French is super. The word supera in Spanish is from the verb superar which means to beat, to surpass, to over take etc... The verb is the same in Portuguese. A direct interpetation for Super would be estupendo in Spanish or muito giro or bacana in portuguese. More than we needed to know, HUH. Mike 30 + tractors including 2 French Super Cubs, French Cubs, 1963 Industrial Cub, 1955 Cub Highcrop etc...German and French built IH tractors and some bigger IH tractors. Of course I have about 20 IH trucks and an IH refridge in the Shop.
I always thought a Super A was an overweight, overpowered, overpriced version of the Cub that isn't nearly as much fun.

Well, the A and B did come before the Cub.... now the Super A did come out in 1947 same as the Cub but they only made 80 or so.
So I will go along with Jim.
