A gift cub Cadet
I have been given a cub cadet and I am trying to get some information about it. It is an AGS 2140 Model # 134-2326100 Mfg code is 271762 and the Mfg date is 154G8. It has a Onan engine that runs good , but the transmission is slow. Also the blade doesn't engage. This was a gift, so I don't have a lot invested in it. I could use a manual for it I'm sure. My local Cub dealer is no help at all. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks Mike

I've never looked, but you might check http://www.binderbooks.com for a manual. There is also a sight called http://www.ihcubcadet.com that may have some good info.
If you are not part of the solution,
you are part of the problem!!!

The manual is a great idea.
Another site that deals just with the CCC/MTD Cub Cadets is at:

You'll get a lot of help there.

Basketcase
That is very interesting that the basketmaker has a basket case. You better make a big one.
I see Scott C. posted the link to the MTD cub site. Lots of information there.
