JDIn addition to my cub, I have just begun re-restoring a 1941 John Deere "H" that my grandfather gave me. It was redone about 10 years ago, driven in one parade, then parked in the barn. Hasn't been started since. It, like the cub, is drawing lots of attention from my co-workers. I need blinders so I can keep my mind on work, and not my tractors!
We saw mostly A's & B's around here. Hardly ever saw an H. They are neat tractors.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem. My wife says I don't listen to her. - - - - - - - - Or something like that! http://www.cubtug.com
Good to see another two brand owner here.

I have my eye on a 1948 JD A located about two miles from my house. It sadly

I am hoping to put some pics of the "H" on here within the next week or so. I had to order a carb kit, and fine tune the timing, so it should be purring like a spittin, sputterin, poppin kitten in a few days!
Cub Bud,
If you get that A, as well as the parts one, If you ever want to sell any parts off it, I'm looking for the flywheel and big nut that holds the flywheel in place. I have an A that is in very good condition except the splines in the flywheel are worn off due to the big nut not being tight and fell off. Mine is a 1950, so I think the flywheel should be the same. My dad once told me if it wasn't for bad luck......I wouldn't have any luck at all......
I'm glad too see some other folks have green ,besides me. I have a 40 restored andI also have a G, and a B I just about to finish restoring a 3010D I also have a Economy Power King that I have restored. Just like tractors especially the two Cubs one restored and the other will be.

As a matter of fact, I do. Unless the guy has sold it. Includes new tires all the way around. Original condition working tractor. Been setting in a barn for the last 4-5 years. I can check. I think I even have some pictures of it somewhere.
