I can't get the date on my posts, etc. to change from 08/14/07.
What'm I doing wrong??

It isn't clear from this end what your exact problem is. The times on your posts look normal from here. In my time zone, your post at the start of this thread shows "Posted: Tue Sep 18, 2007 10:04 am" and your join date as "02 Aug 2007".
Possibly you have a problem with the date display set in your profile. Go to it and check your settings for Timezone and Date Format. Your timezone should probably be "GMT - 4 Hours" or "GMT - 5 Hours" depending on where you are. Date format looks like gibberish. I suggest "D M d, Y g:i a".
