plow on low boy

I'm looking into getting a moldboard plow for my 58 low boy - no fast hitch. What works? all of the direct connect plows that I've seen on cubs mount to a reversed drawbar. Can the drawbar be reversed on a low boy?

The only mounted plow that works on the Lo-Boy is the Fast-Hitch plow.

Does any 1 pt cub plow work with a lo-boy, or is there a special lo-boy version of the 1 pt moldboard plow?

Either the one way or two way one-point moldboard plows work on the Lo-Boy. Beware that the one-point plows for the 100/130/140 look similar but are larger (typically 16" bottoms vs. 12").

I have a fast-hitch on my Lo Boy, and it plows pretty well. If there is any terrain variation, the plow (when raised) tends to snag the ground. I'd like it to lift higher, but it is set to get the most lift. So, I just found a standard cub. I'll miss the fasthitch convenience though...sure is easy to switch on and off! H.

The FH plow does ride close to the ground but there is some things you can do the raise it up. First turn the swivels on the ends of the treaded pull bar so the holes for the pins are at the bottom. Then run the nut on the end of the lift rod all the way in. I even put the adjusting lock coller on the nut side for more clearance. With the fender crank turned all the way up adjust the nut so the draw beam almost touches the right axle when raised. This will act as a saftey so the beam wont hit the axle before the hitch stops going up. The beam will still hit the axle if the plow hits the ground but it would do that in the lower position as well.
