replacement serial tagsI'd like to know who different people have ordered repalcemnt serial number tags from. The only prestamped one I have found so far is $60, which under my current situation is a little steeper than I want to spend for a non essential item.

John, I bought mine from OEM and had them stamp the serial # and hp
for me. I am very pleased with the quality. I paid about $30 for it. Ken, Annie the '48 Cub & 1282 Cub Cadet.

John, I ordered mine from OEM. You will need to call OEM and request a tag order form be faxed to you. Then, you pick out the style tag you need, write down the tag info, then fax it back to OEM. Current prices are $39.00 for a stamped tag (includes prefix, idle, serial #) or $19.00 for a blank tag (no prefix, idle, or serial #). Shipping charges do apply. OEM has these tags made off-site by someone else so, it will take several weeks before you see the finished tag.

Bud, I ordered one from OEM the week after you picked up the cub. Haven't heard anything back yet..
