head gasket cement or not

Postby Steve Ruddy » Fri Apr 16, 2004 9:18 pm

Hello everyone! I just bot my block and head back from the machine shop. Do I need to put gasket cement on the head gasket? The machinest said he recommends a light coat of spray high tack but though I'd ask you all as well.

When I was just a young brat we used gun grease on them. Now I definiteley reccomend Copper Coat gasket sealer.
