Jeff, a little advice form someone who has been there, follow your Dr.s instructions about how much and how soon to put weight on it. I put to much weight on mine too soon, and instead of a few weeks making full recovery I was a few months.

Great news. Don't try to do too much too soon. You will be tempted when boredom sets in.
Best,

Great news Jeff. I think you should "milk"the pampering as long as possible. Kick back in the lazyboy chair and ask the wife to bring you this and that. When you're feeling back to normal and doing jumping jacks when she's away, quickly get back in the lazyboy when she enters the room. Just don't get caught or you know what will happen, like Phil said.
