Cub serial number 501

Postby Mike Schmudlach » Sat Apr 17, 2004 9:42 pm

Last weekend I spent some time with the gentleman that owns Cub serial number 501. He agreed to bring it to the 2005 IHCC Winter Convention in Madison. There is also a lot of info on the history of this tractor in the archives and how it was given to an IH exec who retired to the Milwaukee area..............

The only way you find info on the 501 is to actually go and research it at the WHS. I believe there are some articles in Tractor Farming.
The collection has over 300,000 photos, 300 films and over 12 million manuscript pages. You guys haven't donated enough money yet to get it all up on the web. :-)
As far as pictures go.....I didn't take any. It looks just like a Red Cub (LO ) but there are some differences on the hood..............You will have to come to the Winter Convention to see it.

Any chance of persuading him to bring it to Cubarama?

8) 8) Sounds like one that might be persuaded to bring the 501 to Cub events for the right (Show-up) price. :o

I will see if I can bring it. It would be a shoe in for the earliest Cub trophy.
