No sightings that I am aware of and it would make the news. There is such a lack of predatory wildlife in the area that if a coyote is seen in the area it makes the news.
OK not that bad but pretty close.

We keep the hives on the edge of the back yard. Most (domestic) bees will not go out of their way to bother you as long as your not bothering them, they are very tolerant and used to people. Wild bees are a different story. Bears would be a concern!
