I have to replace the rear main seal in my Super A so I figure I will go ahead and replace the clutch also. Am I to optimistic to think I can split the tractor and do this in one day?

Hopefully the flywheel wont need resurfacing. Check the ring gear also, might as well change it or flip it over while your there.
Dont forget the small gaskets in between the seal housing halves.
Most likely the new pressure plate will look a little different than the old one but it will work just fine.
