Prayers needed

Postby deputy jailer » Fri Dec 14, 2007 6:55 pm

Well I guess the can't help its has finally hit my home front. I started feeling like I was going to pass out at work last night. Went to medical dept and my blood pressure was 184/130 and pulse was 140. The gave me some meds and I came up front and chatted on flash chat a bit. It came down a little bit. I went to the Dr today and payed him a a visit. I have never had problems with High BP but he told me today that i have had it for a while now. It has damaged parts of my eyes (which explains the blurring vision). He didn't like the way the ol ticker was beating either among quite a few other things that was abnormal, so January is when all the heart tests begin for me :?

He told me if I didn't slow down I would be dead by 35, so that really brought reality into play today. So all I am asking to say a prayer that everything turns out ok for me. :D

thanks fellas

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

I hate going to the doctor as much as anyone, but when they tell me to do something I pretty much listen. Take a rest Josh and enjoy the winter, those cubs will be waiting for you when you get to them. Get your health back and then take each day as it comes.

I tried to over do it this summer with the barn restoration and realized I couldn't slay all the dragons by myself so I backed off a bit. You can too.

Our prayers are definitely with you.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

You will be ok

Postby Baydog » Fri Dec 14, 2007 8:26 pm

Podge first of all you are in a stressfull business and that brings some of the trouble on. However having had problems myself years ago please know that the heart is a marvelous organ. With the technology and medications that are available now and if you have the good sense to do what they tell you to do you will be fine. We all get our wake up calls at some point in our life and be glad you still have the opportunity to get well. The only suggestion I would make is find the biggest and best Cardiology facilty in your area and go there. Best of luck I am sure you will be OK. Keep us posted and don't be afraid. Don

As everyone said slow down and all that stuff. I guess the bright side here is you will be able to fix things and I am sure you can overcome this. Thank goodness you went to the Dr. when you did, not on a stretcher. Enjoy the holidays and your family.
