three 10" 1/2 13 pitch bolts with the heads cut off allowed for effortless re-installation of the transmission. you cannot put a guide bolt in the upper steering wheel side because it will not clear the steering base casting.
the trans was back in the tractor in 30 seconds
sure was easier than lying under an 64 impala trying to put a 4 speed back in
