Any B folks hereRan into a B sitting beside a shed and have a few questions. First off the rear tires seem spaced really wide. A normal super c sets behind it and the B
rear tires are at least a foot wider. it has a 2 way plow setup behind it but the right rear tire is at least 18 inches away from the plow point. Both tires are mounted close to the fenders. I believe dished in. Tractor has good sheetmetal and has been repainted at some point long ago. Has been converted to 12 v with an alt. Tag under the seat says Model B ser # F.A.B.77490. Whats with the fab. Guy says he may sell but has to think about it. Batt. was dead but turns over with hand crank. No welds I could see. Thanks. Grump David Dee Mock-Leonard

I have a BN as does PWL. Cub Bud has a B. Nice tractors for playing around with. Lack of hydraulics and the wide width are the biggest downfall. However, there was an exhaust powered lift but parts are hard to find and not cheap.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem. My wife says I don't listen to her. - - - - - - - - Or something like that! http://www.cubtug.com
Owned one at one time. Used it as a wagon tractor.
It was a fun little tractor. Used to pull a 5' bush hog to mow CRP. - Low gear only. The B with a fresh overhaul wouldn't pull the mower in 2nd gear. Fuel wise very economical. I could operate the tractor most of the summer on 15 gallons of gas. Actually as far as utility it was a pretty worthless tractor. Reference Bd's post. A lot of the B's were turned in to acreage mower tractors. Neighbor has one. Uses it as a spot sprayer tractor - PTO mounted sprayer pump with 55 gallon drum mounted on draw bar. I have an excuse. CRS.
and the FAB is jsut the beginning of the serial number, like FCUB on a cub

We have two at the farm and I am trying to buy another. They are great tractors as far as I am concerned. We use them to pull hayrakes. The second one has an extra seat for my son. Grandpa is 75, but adores my son and wants to take him on the tractor. He is afraid he will drop him, so we fixed it up with a second seat, platform, railing, and seat belt. They are the easiest to put a "buddy" seat on.

Have a B and just purchased a complete rear end for a A. You guess it . going to pit A rear end on it. Might make it a little shakey, but common sence can make it a fun ride. Yea I know the correct police already know where I live.

I wish I could find someone with a BN with a single front wheel that they wanted to sell reasonable. We already have 2 B's, but something a little different would be nice.
