International Cub stainless logo

Postby Tom Evans » Fri Jul 02, 2004 7:24 pm

I'm in need of the stainless gas tank logo "International Cub" for my 1957 cub lowboy. I have one good side, but the other side is missing the "Int" letters. I might be able to repair it if someone has a damaged logo with a good "Int" portion. (Someone cut a hole in the gastank to access the generator, so I'm looking for a gas tank too) The stainless logo is approx. 16" long X 1" high.

Hi Tom

I think I saw one of these at JP Tractor a couple of weeks back. The original stainless streel logo won't be cheap. Go to the home page here and click on the JP Tractor link. Drop an email to Jamie, they will get back to you.

Mike

Still no luck on International Cub logo.

I've checked with JP Tractor, TM Tractors, Grand Blanc, and Valu-Bilt with no success. Still looking, Thanks.

I looked in my OEM catalog and it shows NO metal emblems for a Cub. Just decals. They show metal for other I-H`s.

"International Cub" stainless logo

Postby Tom Evans » Fri Jul 09, 2004 3:53 pm

I've got an e-mail in to Steiner's to see if what they have may work. My original is 1" X 16", but Steiner's says it's 18" long. It seems to be too long by my measurements for the hood indentation. Their description is Side Emblem for cub, replaces #362386R2 IH #. I'm not sure what the IH part number is for this logo. Is there an online source to look up the IH part numbers? Thanks. Tom Evans

I had the same problem and found that no one is reproducing the International Cub. emblem at this time.

The only thing you can do is look for a used one froma a salvage yard.

I had prices quoted to me from 150.00 each to 325.00 each good luck.

Steiner Tractor parts lists it. I even cross referenced the part number on the Steiner website with Rudi's online parts manual. It's the chrome "FARMALL CUB" emblem that goes on the side of the hood. $95.00. Somebody is making them.

The regular Farmall Cubs use the Farmall Cub emblem. All of the Cub LoBoy tractors use the International Cub emblem .

I talked to Steiner over a year ago and they told me then they did not make the International Cub emblem.

At that time no one made the International Cub emblem

I checked Salvage yards all over and found only one and one half emblem. One of mine matched the half perfect so we were in business.

The stainless steel embems you are looking for were only used in 55-56-57-and 58 on cub loboy tractors.

Missing Emblems?

Postby Tim-Devery » Sat Jul 10, 2004 7:38 am

I have a 56' Lo-Boy. and have the International Cub emblem.
But I noticed sets of holes along the side radiator shield. Does this area get an emblem also?
