Pete has lost his 'primer' bright shiny new paint finished Friday. I spent the weekend doing all the finish work, wiring, assembly, etc.
pulled the starter ----- no fire, nada. oops timing out 180. fixed....vrooom
Dad just stopped over with a small gas tank. I mounted it GW style. sure made it easier to make all the adjustments. dad got the generator charging, and adjusted the carb, set the governor, etc. sure is nice having him around.
engine rings and a couple of lifters were sticky, after sitting for 10 months. they got going after a bit. MMO in the gas tank, for sure

Wow!
Art, that is some Cub. Don't look like Primer Pete no more! Just gonna have to call him Pete I guess......
Sure looks good, nice paint job. Glad he is running good and you gotta like it when Pop and Son can get together on a project like Pete!
Look forward to seeing him next year at CubFest Northeast????? Yeah, I know, gotta fix the dates.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.
