Transmission Bearing gasket. Where does it go?

Postby hitman » Thu Jul 15, 2004 8:22 pm

I replaced the bearings in the transmission. The pictures in the manual show that the countershaft gasket goes beneathe the bearing cover on top of the bearing retainer. Is this right? It shows the upper spline shaft gasket to go directly on the transmission, then the cover with the seal in it goes on top of that is that correct?
