Size of pictures

I finally mastered posting pictures using photo bucket. Now how do I go about making the pictures bigger on my post?

Joe:

I am assuming that the pics you are previewing on photobucket would be the thumbnails. Click on the thumbnails and that should bring you to the next larger or the default size for photobucket. Right click on that pic and copy the url of the pic. Then paste it into your post and wrap the img tags around it.

That should work if I read your question properly.

Joe,
If you are referring to your pics on another thread, like this one....
Image
... your pictures are only 320 X 240 in size.

I think you did one of two things;
1. Took the pictures at 320 X 240
or
2. Made the picture too small when resizing.

Either taking the picture at 640 X 480 or resizing a larger size to that dimension should work well. :)

Ike:

If that is the case, then resampling in Irfanview will solve that problem. Simply open the file in Irfanview and click the 640x480 pixel size and click ok. Save as a new file.. and poof there it is.

I am taking 640x480 so I will play around with it some more.

Joe:

The pic you have is at 320x240 pixels. You can see that by right clicking on the pic above and checking the properties. It is 50% of what you shot. Shoot max size if you can for clarity and definition, then when ready to upload and post, open the file in Irfanview and then resample/resize to 640x480. The output will be a file of the correct pixel size and a low physical size .. like around 64kb, but highly useable.

Let us know if that helps.
