What is the Google and Yahoo [BOT]

Hey there...

Since we made the transition over to this new software, I notice that there is a Google [bot] and a yahoo [bot] listed in the "users online" listing on the forum. What is BOT? I am just concerned if there is pfishing going on... Are these bots on here on purpose? What do they do?

Mike, those are the search indexing robots for Google and Yahoo. They have always crawled around the forums before; they just showed up as non-registered guests in the connections total before. That is why we would hit such large numbers of concurrent members online before.
