Hey All, I picked up what I believe is a 1976 MT1800 Struck dozer last weekend and looking for "anything ya got!".....Forums, Struck bone yards, parts suppliers, etc. I'd been driving by an old blue tarp for years and thought it was a lawn mower or equivilent underneath it. A lot of old blue tarps in the old coal town of Saltilla, OH. Mother nature took its toll on tarp and out pops a set of sticks. Neighbor said he'd never sell it to me as he could have sold it 50 times over the years from passersbye, but my motto of "timing is everything" proved itself again and 450.00 later it was on the trailer. Along with the blade and small loader bucket. I did some research before dealing as he said he thought it would need new tracks but he'd had it running before he tarped it...8 yrs. ago! I found the Magnatrac site and emailed them and was quoted 640.00 for a new set and 300.00 for grouser pads(agressive cleats). Dozer is in pretty darn good original condition with only some surface rust so I think I can justify new tracks if I can't find another option. I also need input on a GOOD Walbro carb kit. It has a 16 HP Tecumseh that I got running after cleaning out a pretty cruddy float bowl, but it wants to lope and I know a cleaning and float adjustments are in order. I'll post some pics of dozer when I have some time to find the cubhost server....I know it's around here somewhere. Thanks !

Congratulations, I always wanted one of them when I was younger. Now, however, i don't think I could handle the ride.

I have a neighbor with a small dozer like that. I am not sure what brand it is, but it sure does get some work done.

I'm like John. I'd love to have one of those for a toy. I don't know what the parts availibility is for them though. Might be hard to find some critical stuff.

Nice rig !!!!!! I always wanted a crawler, I missed an old cleatrack years ago that would have been affordable. There is agroup on Yahoo that deals with the small tracked mackhines.

I have the dozer disassembled and in my to do corner when I ever get back to it. I ordered and installed a replacement link/pad for the 1 bad section of track that I had and I think it will do the trick. I believe it was $20.00 or so.
