Welcome Andrew,
Working on your cub might seam like work but as you continue it will be very enjoyable. If you follow Rudi's directions you can find any answer you might have if not just ask and someone will be glad to help. There are a lot of cub gurus here. :) :)

Andrew,

Welcome to the best forum on the whole WWW!!! Tell us some more about your cub? Are there parts dealers in your area of the world that stock parts or do you have to ship them in from overseas? (sorry for the Naivety...I am a small town boy!)...

hello all, well its been a good day i picked the old girl up. iam a proud owner of # 131691 which makes it a 1951(thanks to this site for the info) i would have got a pic but it was dark when i got it home and into the shed so will get one asap. Hopefully overnight all that oil and lube ive sprayed everywhere should get things loose and maybe get her going tomorrow , iam not to sure of how long its been sitting they guy i brought it off said hes had it 2 years and never got it going and did not know how long before that.it just makes it more interesting and a challange for me to make it purr again :) as for its condidtion its not to bad most things are still there, a bit of rust in the normal places (guards, footplate, bonnet) but nothing that cant be fix. As for parts and dealers here in nz (as wisconsincubman asked) theres not alot on offer , we have a case IH dealer in town but they probably wouldnt have a clue or carry any parts other than a fan belt (maybe) ive read in other threads on here that u guys get to go into town and pretty much get what u need ,iam jelous at that but ive delt with a guy up in Auckland (our biggest city in NZ) he has parts for these old tractors which is good. anyways ill be back with a update and a pic tomorrow
cheers Andrew
