Re: My C wont start
I just had the same problem with my C, i bought a carb rebuild kit from a friend and the gasket between the bottom/top half was wrong, i guess all of the gaskets are or something, there's a hole that you need to make to let the air above the gas in the float side let the air back into the intake side, it's just a little tiny hole, if you look at your old gasket you might be able to see it. this might not be your problem, but after having mine apart at least 4 times before i asked my friend about it, i figure it's an easy task just to look at it....
just an idea, good luck

Re: My C wont start
Had it apart again today and made the two holes in front of the float bigger but I will look for a small hole. Thanks for the heads up, I'll try it. Another question.... Does the regulator switch have to be turned on for the C to start?

Double check the needle valve and seat. Make sure there is no debris under the needle and that the seat is clean. Then check the action of the float. Hold the float in the needle valve closed position and blow through the fuel inlet. If air passes through the needle valve and seat - problem.
I have an excuse. CRS.

Re: My C wont start
Thanks I will check that. Would that be part of the problem of why I am getting so much blow back of fuel into the air intake? I can't figure out why the fuel is not going into the engine.
