Can someone help me with the wiring from the disributor cap to the spark plugs. My C still wont start. I don't know where to get manuals for my C and H If anyone could help that would be great. I am killing my battery and starter trying to get the thing to start... Is it supposed to be a 6 volt or 12 volt? My Cub and A I got all good and running, but the C is driving me mad. Wait I wish I was able to drive it. I get my mail with my A and I cant even get the C out of my driveway. I know someone can help me.
Thanks Marc

you can get manuals from either a local dealer, or form http://www.binderbooks.com Wiring of the C should be like the H

Re: How do I wire this Thing?
The distributor or magneto timing on the C and H, which ever ignition system you have, is the same as the Cub. Timing marks for the C are listed as being visable through the hand hole cover on the bottom of the clutch housing. Can someone help me with the wiring from the disributor cap to the spark plugs. I don't know where to get manuals for my C and H. Is it supposed to be a 6 volt or 12 volt?
Count the number of caps or chambers in/on the battery. 3 caps or chambers = 6 volts. 6 = 12 volt.
Some advertisers on this board carry IH parts other than Cub. Give them a try for the manuals. Also many farm/home/ranch stores carry I&T manuals (for Farmall tractors).
I have an excuse. CRS.

Wiring from distributor to plugs on the C is the same as the A.

Thanks everybody. I found some manuals at binderbook.com. I will try timing the C again today and let everyone know. I am still looking for parts.
